qBackup is a light and efficient cross-platform backup application compatible with cloud storage, local system & SFTP server backups. Access and manage the data in your qBackup account with IDrive® e2 Storage.
Create S3 Access Keys from the IDrive® e2 account and use them to establish a connection with qBackup.
To set up a project on qBackup with IDrive® e2,
- Install qBackup and launch the application.
- Click New+ to create a new project. Under the Include tab, add files and folders you wish to backup.
- Go to the Storage tab and choose S3 Compatible Storage. Under Use Access Key ID and Secret Access Key, enter the IDrive® e2 access keys, storage endpoint and bucket name.
- Click OK to set up your backup project.
- To run the backup, select the backup project, and click Backup on the menu bar.
